Nomination & election of open 2024 POA Executive Board positions
The Board is comprised of five POA property owners who are elected by the membership to represent the members of the Association for a two-year term. Board members are unpaid volunteers who oversee the association's operations and help enforce member-voted-on-property rules and regulations (CC&Rs). The Board meets on the second Tuesday of each month at 6 p.m.

Executive Board nominees must meet the following CA Civil Code criteria:
•   The nominee is a POA property owner and a member of the POA.
•   The nominee/member is current on payment of regular & special assessments.
•   If elected, the nominee/member would not be serving on the Board with a co-owner of the nominee’s membership parcel.
•   The person has not been convicted of a crime that would prevent the Association from purchasing fidelity bond coverage or would cause the termination of the Association’s fidelity bond coverage.
•   The nominee/member has owned the property for at least one year at the time of nomination.

POA members interested in vying for one of the open Board Director positions must fill out a Board of Directors Self-nomination Form. The form is available in the Nugget, the POA office, and on this website (click on Forms) and must be received in the POA Office no later than 5 pm by May 24, 2024.  Ballots will be counted and election results announced at the Annual POA Members Meeting held on September 7th, 2023, at 10:am in the POA Recreation Hall (14211 Wycliff Way).

HANSKI FARMS GOATS OPPORTUNITY

The POA has contracted with the Butte County Fire Safe Council to share the cost of bringing  the goats back to our greenbelt areas in the spring. Swede Hanski has made an offer that would help in the important role of helping our members get lots compliant at a rate that beats most cleanup companies. This offer is only for vacant lots in the POA. Whether or not you are adjacent to a greenbelt area, if you have a lot with no home, he will bring his goats in to clear your weeds. He will transport and fence them in at your lot. He stated that he needs a minimum of 80 lots signed up to make this happen. The cost is only $225. To sign up, you must contact the POA office and we will keep a master list of all who sign up. You will be responsible for the payment to Hanski Farms. If we do not get enough properties signed up to make his minimum, the cost will be more. Please let your neighbors know about this opportunity. Please help make our Association fire safe this year.
